“Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. “But he said to me, “ My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” -2 Corinthians 12:9 ESVĢ. We should be grateful that we don’t have to rely on our own strength, but we can trust in the strength of God forever.ġ.
These verses tell us that the Lord uses suffering for good, He is with us always, and we can do hard things by the power of His Spirit. One role of Christ in our lives is to give us strength.
